Over the last 4+ years I have been honing the skills t o provide you with an experience in selling or buying your home that is as smooth and as stress free as possible – resulting in well over 100 homes sold. Prior to real estate, I spent 18 years as a mechanical engineer in product development, project management, and technical sales culminating in 35 granted patents. During this period, I worked for several startups, mid-sized, and large corporations, such as Bell Labs. As a trained engineer and PMI-accredited project manager, my buyers and sellers have found that I can help prep them for what to expect and when it should happen during the transaction. In addition I can also help them understand the mechanics of how a home works, in addition to helping them see the possibility of owning a home of their dreams - either by suggesting renovations that bring the most return when selling their home; or when buying, what modifications can be done while working with zoning and expertise to help select the home to become their dream home.
When I bought my first home at age 23, it was a 4-car garage attached to a converted 100 yr-old 2-family home on 1/2 an acre lot backing to a lake. Since then I've averaged buying a home about every 3-5 years, so I know first hand what buyers and sellers go through - as a broker and a consumer. I can help turn the frustrations of the system and lack of inventory to their best advantage. I have owned fixer-uppers, rental properties, single-family homes, townhouses, condos, new construction, and everything in-between.
When not at work, I enjoy cars (especially tracking them, hence the 4-car garage), which includes coaching teens car control and accident avoidance with Street Survival, as well as teaching mogul skiing to the physically disabled with Crested Butte's Adaptive Program, hiking, skiing the backcountry, and cooking - but not all at the same time.
